Lokmatik Privacy Policy

Lokmatik is a nutrition and macro tracking app. This policy explains what we process, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking.

1. Information we collect

We process the following to run the app:

  • Account details: email, display name, avatar, and the identity from Apple or Google when you use their sign-in.
  • Profile and targets: sex, birth date, height, weight, activity level and goals, used to calculate your targets.
  • Your diary: meals, portions, calories, macros, water and weight entries.
  • Community content: recipes, comments and votes you publish, visible to other users.
  • Voice logging: the microphone is used only while you start voice logging. Speech is transcribed on device; the text is sent to our server to create the entry.
  • Photo logging: photos you choose to capture are sent to our server to recognise the meal.
  • Diagnostics: crash reports and technical error data (Sentry).

2. How we use information

We use it to:

  • Provide the diary, targets, recipes and stats features
  • Recognise meals from the voice notes and photos you submit
  • Keep the service secure and diagnose crashes
  • Respond to your support requests

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only with processors needed to run the service:

  • Supabase — authentication, database and file storage
  • Google Gemini API — interpreting the voice transcript or meal photo for that request only
  • Sentry — crash reporting
  • Apple and Google — only when you choose their sign-in

4. Apple Health

Apple Health integration is disabled in this version and no HealthKit permission is requested. If enabled in a future version, we will only read steps and active energy, never write to Health.

5. Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. Delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account) to permanently remove your diary and profile. Deletion cannot be undone; backups may take up to 30 days to purge. Recipes you published are removed with the account.

6. Your rights

Under KVKK and, where applicable, GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, objection and portability. Contact support@alverlo.com for any request.

7. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13. We delete accounts we learn belong to younger children.

Lokmatik is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Plan your nutrition with a doctor or dietitian.
